Vykin Corporation is currently looking for an experienced TS/SCI cleared Content Manager to join our team in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense. Duties: |
The contractor shall provide the following project-specific services as requested by the Government:
• Provide daily input and management assistance on GEOINT Today content.
• Perform briefings and document preparation and execution.
• Provide time-critical GEOINT Today content selection and publishing.
• Ensure web consistency as outlined in Visual Identity Guide (to be provided).
• Assist with building, maintaining, and adhering to compliance review process.
• Works closely with graphic designer to ensure consistency as outlined in Visual identity guide.
• Perform GEOINT Today website demonstrations.
• Document GEOINT Today content management processes.
• Assist training new content managers GEOINT Today content management processes

Qualifications: |
Required Skills:
• Direct web publishing and publications production processes experience within a web-based content management system.
• Experience with writing and editing for the web.
• Demonstrated experience with web design and/or product design-specifically using Adobe Photoshop, HTML, and cascading style sheets (css).
• Demonstrated experience working with a variety of web programs, databases, and editorial software.
• Solid computer skills and proficiency on PC platforms using the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Dreamweaver.
• Strong written and oral communications skills, including the ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Ability to perform as a self-motivator that is able to work alone and in teams.
• Sound organizational and customer services skills.
• Ability to perform research & data analysis and present findings.
• TS/SCI and be willing to take and pass a CI polygraph if requested.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated experience working with intelligence analysis, NGA, and/or the Intelligence community.
• Strong web usability and basic user interface concepts.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining content taxonomy.
• Knowledge of the EMC Documentum suite of software.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in the Washington D.C. Metro Area supporting a DoD customer. The successful applicant will be working for and reporting directly to the prime contractor or the DoD customer as appropriate.
