Description: |
The Home Care Specialist is responsible for ensuring continuity between the hospital and the home setting in order to maximize patient satisfaction of home health services; to optimize patient safety, comfort, and well-being; to improve awareness and confidence among healthcare professionals, physicians and patients regarding current home health options and capabilities; to coordinate referrals to ensure timely admission and appropriate patient care based on doctor's referrals. This position will be located within Lee Regional Medical Center and will cover both Lee and Scott counties. |
Duties: |
Must be very knowledgeable of all our products and services. Must be able to build relationships with case mangers and physicians and have great follow-up. |
Qualifications: |
2 year college degree along with 4 years of clinical, customer service, retail sales or health care sales experience required. Previous work in the Health Care Sales field a plus. RN preferred. |
