Land Mobile Product Manager (Contractor)

Location: McLean, VA.

Employment Type:  Full - Time Contractor

Expected Length of Engagement: 6 months

Responsibilities

The Land Mobile Product Manager will be responsible for managing projects to support the growth and maintenance of Iridium's Land Mobile product category.  Projects include:

·         Billing enhancements

·         Software program development  with 3^rd party vendors

·         Accessory programs

·         Marketing program management 

·         User guide project management

·         Customer touchpoint analysis

·         New project concept analysis

Qualifications:

·         BS/BA Degree, MBA preferred

·         Previous marketing or product management experience

·         Experience with requirements development and working with development and operational teams.

·         Proven ability to create and execute launch plans including marketing plans, project schedules, training calls, and channel support. 

·         Demonstrated ability to proactively build and manage relationships through effective interpersonal and relationship skills

·         Strong communicator (Oral, Verbal, and Written) with ability to persuade individuals and groups.

·         10% travel required to Tempe, AZ

·         Proficiency in English is required but additional languages are a highly desired

·         Strong computer skills and capability with Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Ability to come up to speed quickly with company systems, proprietary systems and emerging technology.

·         Ability to multi-task, results driven, strong sense of ownership; strong sense of urgency; ability to improvise and solve complex problems and manage with minimal supervision.

·         Strong organization and time management skills
