International Business Development Manager - Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)

Currently we are seeking an International Business Development Manager – Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to build partner relationships that will develop customers and revenue streams.

Duties:

• Builds and maintains partner relationships that will develop customers and revenue streams.
• Acts as the BD lead for new pursuits and be responsible for leading and coordinating captures that include multiple programs and customer sets.
• Manages planning and execution of new business and program growth activities including opportunity assessment, capture management, competitive assessment and positioning and customer relationship development.
• Reviews and analyzes RFPs, RFQs and Tenders as well as associated documentation, with a focus on the key requirements to identify opportunities. Reviews proposal materials to ensure clients' intent is reflected in all submissions.
• Leads the Capture and Proposal Business Decision Gate reviews for all pursuits assigned.
• Supports the business development proposal process by maintaining a professional and cordial relationship with all client representatives, producing site specific information, briefings, etc.
• Develops and implements customer contact plan across all levels of customers.
• Identifies customer’s key issues, concerns and “hot buttons” through direct customer contact.
• Manages pipeline of opportunities and supports Director of International Business Development in the development of forecasts and revenue plans.
• Provides and initiates market and country-specific analysis affecting procurement vehicles, customer buying habits and patterns.
• Builds, motivates and manages a network of Agents and Resellers in the Area.

Qualifications:

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
• A minimum of 8 years of domestic and international sales, business development and capture experience working with Ministries of National Defense, Ministries of Interior, and International Military Service customers.
• Experience with differing acquisition approaches and vehicles, with a proven record of pursuing and capturing services and solutions based new business opportunities of significant size, complexity of scope, and/or a unique/complex business model.
• Proven ability to conduct competitive assessments and price to win analysis.
• Customer focused, quality driven team player who can multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced environment and communicate technically complex subject matter to all levels of an organization.
• Demonstrated proficiency at reducing complex issues into clearly stated tasks with defined implications and consequences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation and organization skills and be able to perform all aspects of the sales process.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with people at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence and manage risk.
• Prior military experience is a plus.
• Permanent Residence in Europe or the Middle East.
• Readiness to travel internationally (50%) and with a short notice.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business management, international business, marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Foreign language proficiency in German, French, Russian or Arabic preferred.
