| LoanCare, a division of ServiceLink has an immediate opening for a REO-Claims Supervisor. The REO Claims Supervisor will coordinate and direct the daily activities of the REO/ Claims department. |
Duties: |
Supervise and direct the activities of the REO/ Claims department to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, investor guidelines and applicable state an federal laws and regulations. Enhance staff performance through goal setting, training and coaching. Monitor all claims are filed in accordance with investor/agency/insurer requirements. Conduct quality review of all claims prior to submission. Participate in the implementation and development of procedures to increase efficiency and adjust to required changes. Participate on weekly/monthly conference calls with clients providing status of the defaulted portfolio. Manage eviction and property preservation needs for agency and private loans. Prepare response for internal QC audits.

Qualifications: |
Minimum of 4 year work experience in the legal field, or default mortgage servicing and or strong understanding of REO marketing, property preservation and disposition of assets. Working knowledge of accepted business practices in the mortgage industry and or strong understanding of claims process for HUD, FHLMC, FNMA and VA. Good analytical, written and verbal communication skills. LPS-MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) experience preferable, but not necessary. Knowledge of Microsoft office- Excel and Word. High School diploma or GED. Strong case management background and organizational skills. Knowledge of mortgage documents and instrument. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. Ability to motivate and train staff.
